Grilled Vegetarian Caesar Salad


  • 1 head large romaine lettuce hearts, sliced lengthwise ( with stem attached )
  • 1/4 cup eggless mayonnaise ( store bought)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • Salt and pepper
  • Croutons and some Shredded Parmesan cheese


Cut the romaine lettuce into half vertically. Grill the lettuce for 2 minutes (1 minutes each side). I use my grilling pan to grill at high temperature. Once you grill it , put the romaine lettuce on a serving plate . Take a medium size bowl and put all the ingredient except for the croutons and Parmesan. Mix them well. Before you put salt, check the salt level since parmesan is a bit salty. Now drizzle all the dressings on top of the lettuce and follow with croutons and shredded parmesan cheese.
