Ingredients
- 1/2 Kg Tomatoes
- 15-20 dry red chillies
- 10-20 chopped garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup of cooking oil
Instructions:
I like to do this one specially for you guys who love spicy, tangy and nutty. This sauce is so addictive, i am sure you will love it and once you start cooking it , that will not be your last one. Apart from the taste, it’s so easy to cook and it goes well with multiple dishes.
To start with, wash the tomatoes and chop it roughly.
Use a cooking pan and pour oil on it. Make your chillies ready to fry.
Fry the chillies at low flames until the chillies get dark in color as shown below. Make sure you do not burn them. i consider this as an important step. You need to make sure that you cook real slow and ensure it doesn’t get burned. I believe the nuttyness or i would rather say the nutty aromatics comes from this very process.
Now remove the chillies and keep it aside, Put the chopped tomatoes and put appropriate amount of salt. Cook the tomatoes till the water loosens up.
While the tomatoes is getting cooked, let the chillies cool down. Pound the chillies roughly as shown below.
Make the garlic ready, You can chop it roughly as show below.
Once the tomatoes gets soften, add the chopped garlic and the chillies. .
Cook till the oil loose out.
Your tomatoes fry chilly sauce is ready. Best part , You can store them in a tight container inside a refrigerator for at least 45 days. That’s more than a month of your taste enhancer. I am jumping on it right now with my fresh dumplings (Momos).

- Cook till the oil loose out.
- Your tomatoes fry chilly sauce is ready.
